A reconstructed modell from my diploma thesis “Texturierte 3-D-Mesh Generierung aus Stereobildsequenzen”. I used 13 2D stereo images without known camera position as input.

Below the video, you can choose your “3D view style” from a drop down menu. If you don’t have any 3D glasses, you can try the cross-eyed free view or the parallel free view. For cross-eyed method, you try to find the 3D image in front of the screen. First you will see 4 images. You have to merge 2 of them to one 3D image. If you see 3 images (two flat images left and right and one 3D in the middle), you found it. Parallel free view is the opposite way: try to look “thru” your screen and search the image behind it (like you did with “magic eye” books). You should finally see 3 images again – the one in the middle is the one you were searching for … Some people like cross-eyed better, some parallel. Find out, if you are a cross-eyed or a parallel guy. For more info google for “cross-eyed” or “stereoscopy” … If you don’t see it at all, you can also choose the monoscopic (2D) view style by selecting “left image only” or “right only” from the drop down menu.
